Kind Kones Secures Funding from Epic Angels to Accelerate Growth in Asia and Middle East

Singapore-based plant-based frozen dessert brand Kind Kones has secured funding from Epic Angels and other angel investors to accelerate its growth in Asia and the Middle East. The company, founded by Serina and Ishpal Bajaj, offers more than 150 flavors of dairy-free, egg-free, and artificial ingredient-free frozen desserts. The funding will be used to expand into new markets, with a focus on Southeast Asia and Dubai, through a combination of company-operated stores and franchised locations.

Epic Angels, a female-only investment collective with over 600 members in Asia Pacific and Latin America, sees potential in Kind Kones' category-defining product in the plant-based dessert market. With over 90% of the Asian population experiencing lactose intolerance, the plant-based frozen dessert market in Asia is rapidly expanding. Kind Kones currently operates seven retail locations in Singapore and Malaysia, distributes through hospitality groups, and maintains an online sales channel, emphasizing their commitment to providing conscious indulgence for everyone.
