LA Student Sues High School Over Right To Promote Plant-Based Milk

Marielle Williamson, a vegan high school student in LA, is suing her school district for preventing her from promoting plant-based milk without also promoting dairy. Together with a nonprofit, she is accusing the USDA and school administrators of violating her rights to free speech. Despite the increasing number of young people choosing plant-based alternatives, US schools are required to serve dairy milk.
