La Vie Launches Plant-Based Aperitif Range

French plant-based meat brand La Vie has launched a new aperitif range consisting of five products, including mini sausages, chorizo sticks, ham slices, and croquetas. The mini sausages are highlighted for containing half the amount of fat compared to their meat-based counterparts, while the chorizo sticks offer a spicier option. La Vie aims to cater to both vegans and meat-eaters with their plant-based offerings, allowing everyone to enjoy the same aperitif experience.

The launch of the new range follows La Vie securing €25 million in 2024, bringing the total funding raised by the company to €50 million over three years. With this new investment, La Vie plans to improve its existing plant-based deli products and continue to develop new ones. The La Vie Apéro Veggie range is currently available at select stores, with plans for a gradual rollout to other major retailers in the future.
