Laughing Cow Debuts New Vegan Cheese Wedges

The Laughing Cow has introduced a new vegan version of its classic cheese wedges, available at Whole Foods stores nationwide. The Laughing Cow Plant-Based comes in two flavors: Original and Garlic & Herb, with eight pieces in each pack for $5.49. Bel Brands, the parent company of Laughing Cow, Babybel, and Boursin, has been expanding its plant-based offerings, with Babybel and Boursin both releasing vegan versions of their popular products in recent years.

In addition to the new vegan cheese wedges, Bel Brands will be launching another vegan product under its plant-based cheese company Nurishh. The dairy cream cheese made through precision fermentation will be available in several flavors at Kroger stores beginning January 1, 2023. With the increasing demand for plant-based options, mainstream cheese companies like Bel Brands are making strides to cater to consumers' dietary and lifestyle preferences.
