LGBTQ+-Owned Vegan Doughnut Truck Opens in Seattle

A new LGBTQ+-owned fully vegan doughnut truck called Doughjoy is opening in Seattle in May. The owners, Sean Willis and Christopher Ballard, are aiming to cater to a diverse range of foodies in what is already considered one of the top vegan cities in the nation. Offering yeast-raised, sugary doughnuts with unique flavors, Doughjoy plans to fill a void in the Seattle vegan doughnut market by providing a fun doughnut experience with their plant-based treats.

The menu will feature creative options such as The Faconator, Petal To The Metal, Cereal Killer, PB & HEYYY, and The Basic B. In addition to doughnuts, the truck will also serve 100% vegan lattes with dairy-free syrups. The owners hope to showcase a different side of veganism that focuses on delicious options and inclusivity rather than restrictions.
