Lidl Introduces High-Protein Vegan Pudding Pots In Three Flavors

Lidl has introduced a new range of high-protein vegan pudding pots in three flavors at its UK stores. The Vemondo High Protein Pudding pots are available in Caramel, Chocolate, and Hazelnut varieties, each containing 20g of protein per 200g pot, which is around one-third of the recommended daily allowance for adults in the UK. Priced at £1.29 per item, these vegan desserts are now available for purchase at Lidl stores.

The budget supermarket has seen a significant demand for dairy-free options in the UK, leading to an expansion of its plant-based range. Lidl has committed to increasing its plant-based and vegetarian food offerings by 12 percent by 2023, and has already introduced a range of plant-based products including ice cream, single-serve desserts, and now the high-protein pudding pots. By making high-quality plant-based foods more accessible and affordable, Lidl aims to support healthier and more sustainable choices for its customers, while also contributing to reducing CO2 emissions and promoting a balanced food system for the future.
