Lidl Just Brought Back Its Ben & Jerry’s-Style Vegan Ice Cream

Budget supermarket Lidl has brought back its Ben & Jerry’s-style vegan ice cream tubs in time for National Ice Cream Month. The Vemondo “vegan ice dessert” comes in flavors like Cookie Dough, Choco Fudge Brownie, and Peanut Butter Cookie and has been spotted in several stores. This marks the return of the vegan ice creams, which were first introduced to the UK in 2023 but have been difficult to find in 2025 until now.

In addition to the tubs, Lidl previously offered Vemondo waffle cone ice cream and Sorbet Ice Cream Balls by Mini Melts in mango and kiwi flavors. The vegan ice creams are priced at £1.99 per 500ml tub and have been well-received by customers like vegan baker Shannon Stones. Lidl has been expanding its vegan product offerings, including BN-style biscuits and high-protein pudding pots, and is committed to reducing CO2 emissions and promoting a sustainable food system through its plant-based range.
