Lidl Launches Round BN-Style Vegan Biscuits

Lidl has launched new round BN-style vegan biscuits under its Tower Gate snack brand. The "Chocolate Creamy" and "Vanilla Creamy" options feature light-colored biscuits with either vanilla or cocoa cream filling. The biscuits are priced at £1.69 per 500g pack and have been described as having a similar taste and texture to a rich tea biscuit.

In addition to these new biscuits, Lidl has been expanding its plant-based offerings, introducing high-protein pudding pots and committing to tripling its plant-based food options. The company aims to make 25 percent of its protein sales from plant-based options by the end of the decade as part of its sustainability efforts. Lidl has also pledged to open 40 new stores in the UK by the end of the financial year, with a focus on social responsibility and sustainability in its daily operations.
