Lindt Responds to Canadian Vegan Cravings with Launch of LINDOR Vegan Truffles

Lindt & Sprüngli has launched LINDOR Vegan Truffles in Canada in response to the increasing demand for plant-based chocolate options. The truffles, available in Original and Dark Chocolate varieties, are made with oat-based chocolate to replicate the smooth, melting experience of traditional milk chocolate. Each truffle is individually wrapped and comes in 120g bags.

The decision to introduce the LINDOR Vegan Truffles was based on a national survey conducted by Lindt, which found that a significant number of Canadian vegans still crave foods they enjoyed before adopting a vegan lifestyle. Milk chocolate was identified as a top craving, with 78% of respondents missing it. The survey also highlighted that many vegans see indulging in high-quality, vegan-friendly treats like chocolate as an important aspect of their self-care routine, emphasizing the emotional connection they have with chocolate.
