LIVEKINDLY Collective Moves to Acquire Dalco Food From Hilton Food Group

LIVEKINDLY Collective has entered into an agreement to acquire Dalco Food BV, a Dutch producer of plant-based products, from the UK's Hilton Food Group. The acquisition, subject to customary closing conditions and works council consultation, would return Dalco to an owner solely focused on plant-based foods. For LIVEKINDLY Collective, this would bring increased manufacturing capacity, established customer relationships, and product development capabilities to their group of plant-based brands.

The acquisition of Dalco follows a series of recent activities for LIVEKINDLY Collective, including B Corp Certification and a deal to acquire Greenforce Future Food AG. CEO David Suarez sees the plant-based category entering a phase of strategic consolidation, positioning the company as an active buyer of established regional brands. With the addition of Dalco, LIVEKINDLY Collective aims to strengthen its presence in the B2B and private-label markets, alongside their consumer brands, to further promote the adoption of plant-based nutrition.
