Livekindly Collective to Acquire Dutch Meat-Free Player Dalco Food for $7.3M

Livekindly Collective has agreed to acquire Dalco Food, a Dutch meat-free manufacturer, for $7.3M. This acquisition is part of Livekindly Collective's strategy to expand its portfolio of plant-based brands and reach consumers through various channels. Dalco Food, known for supplying vegan and vegetarian meat alternatives to retailers, foodservice operators, and private-label brands, will bring B2B and private-label capabilities to Livekindly Collective.

The transaction marks Livekindly Collective's second acquisition in a month, following its purchase of German plant-based meat maker Greenforce. With a focus on building a brand-led plant-based food business, Livekindly Collective aims to scale up development and manufacturing, grow consumer demand, and strengthen relationships with retailers and B2B clients. As Livekindly Collective continues its M&A spree in the alternative protein category, the acquisition of Dalco Food will enhance its manufacturing footprint, customer relationships, and R&D capabilities, positioning the company for further growth and innovation.
