Loco Coco Expands to Brooklyn, Adds Vegan Soft Serve

Loco Coco has expanded to Brooklyn, offering colorful sips and vibrant bites in the Williamsburg neighborhood. Specializing in superfood smoothies, fresh-pressed juices, and vegan smoothie bowls, the new location marks the second site for the fast-casual smoothie spot originally opened on Manhattan's Upper East Side in 2017. With plans to open more stores at Columbia University, Hudson Yards, and in Los Angeles, Loco Coco aims to bring its tropical, modern atmosphere inspired by traditional fruit stands to more locations.

Featuring a menu of lattes, sodas, and vegan soft serve with superfood ingredients like blue lavender, oat milk, and spirulina, Loco Coco also focuses on sustainable practices. The eatery uses eco-friendly coconut bowls and utensils made with bamboo and paper, offering the option to upgrade to a reusable coconut bowl. Additionally, customers who return their coconut bowls receive a discount on their order, and serving options include edible pineapples for a fruity snack.
