Louis Vuitton showcased its use of plant-based fur from BioFluff at Paris Fashion Week. The luxury fashion brand incorporated animal-free fur into some of its latest styles, including a vest made from BioFluff’s Savian faux fur with a "wolfy" texture. BioFluff's fur is made from natural materials like nettles, flax, and hemp, and has been featured in several fashion shows since the start of 2026.

Louis Vuitton's Regeneration 2030 sustainability roadmap aims to reduce CO₂ emissions, restore flora and fauna habitats, and implement sustainable water management across all sites. However, the roadmap lacks detailed plans on how the brand will meet these targets. While Louis Vuitton is making strides towards sustainability with its plant-based fur and ambitious goals, the fashion industry as a whole is facing growing pressure to address environmental and welfare issues associated with the use of traditional fur and animal products.
