M&S Launches Vegan Speculoos Cookies In Light-Up Tin

Marks & Spencer (M&S) has released vegan speculoos and chocolate chip cookies in a festive light-up tin in the shape of a snowy house. The new product, spotted by Instagram page Vegan on the Shelf, is available online and in stores for £7. Speculoos, a holiday shortcrust biscuit with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and cardamom, gives the cookies a warm, aromatic taste.

M&S expanded its Plant Kitchen range in response to the growing interest in veganism, ethical eating, and the health benefits of plant-based food. The line, launched in 2019, includes a variety of plant-based products such as cakes, dressings, spreads, sandwiches, pies, and ready meals. M&S's move mirrors other supermarket brands like Asda's OMV!, Tesco's Plant Chef, Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers, and Aldi's Plant Menu, which have all introduced successful own-brand vegan lines in recent years.
