Malibu and Oatly Partner to Launch Vegan Piña Colada-Flavoured Soft-Serve

Malibu and Oatly have teamed up to launch a vegan piña colada-flavoured soft-serve with a touch of alcohol called Piña Oatlada. This oat-based soft serve contains 1.5% ABV and is vegan-friendly, catering to Gen Z's interest in plant-based alternatives and new flavours. The partnership will kick off with the opening of a pop-up bar called Paradise Arches in Shoreditch, London, where guests can enjoy complimentary Piña Oatlada served in unique cocktail glass-shaped waffle cones.

The Piña Oatlada will later be available at select UK bars and European festivals, targeting those looking for lighter-alcohol products and unique dessert options. Oatly, which reported promising financial results in Q1 2024, sees the partnership with Malibu as a way to introduce their brand to the nightlife scene in an unexpected way. Both brands are excited to offer consumers a new and innovative way to enjoy the taste of summer with this refreshing treat.
