US plant-based milk brand Malk Organics has launched a new high-protein, additive-free whole milk in response to the growing demand for protein and the shift towards clean-label products in the non-dairy milk category. The product, called Whole Malk, is made from a blend of soy, coconut, cashews, and pea protein, delivering 5g of protein per 100ml. It is fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, and is now available at various retailers nationwide.
The decision to launch Whole Malk comes after Malk Organics experienced a surge in sales in 2025, reaching $94M. The brand's president, Ryan Rouse, believes that consumers are seeking more nutritious options without compromising on ingredient quality. By addressing the need for protein and offering a clean-label, organic product, Malk Organics hopes to appeal to consumers looking for a plant-based alternative to cow's milk that is both nutritious and delicious. Other plant-based milk brands are also exploring multi-ingredient formulations to cater to changing consumer preferences in the market.
