Maya’s Cookies 2024 Black History Month Collection Honors Black Athletes Breaking Barriers

Maya’s Cookies, a Black-owned vegan cookie company based in San Diego, is launching its 2024 Black History Month Collection honoring Black athletes. The collection will feature three new cookie flavors inspired by Florence Griffith Joyner, Serena Williams, and Magic Johnson, iconic figures who have broken barriers in the world of sports. The cookies pay tribute to their resilience, dedication, and excellence, capturing their stories through delicious vegan treats.

The Trailblazer, The Grand Slam, and The MVP are the three flavors in the collection, each representing the unique qualities and achievements of the athletes they are named after. Additionally, the collection continues Maya’s Cookies’ tradition of supporting Black-owned businesses by featuring specialty ingredients from Kanda Chocolates and Healthy on You. Each collection comes packaged in their signature pink gift box, adorned with a limited-edition band designed by artist Britny Lizet. The 2024 Black History Collection is available for pre-order on their website, allowing customers to indulge in these special treats while celebrating Black excellence in sports.
