McDonald’s Launches New Vegan Ice Cream

McDonald’s has introduced a new dairy-free ice cream-style frozen dessert called The Vegan Scoop in two flavors, Choco and Strawberry, both certified as vegan by The Vegetarian Society. Additionally, the fast-food chain has launched a vegan frozen iced product called McFreezy in Mango & Pineapple, and Orange flavors. These new desserts are currently available in select McDonald’s restaurants in the North West of England for a trial run from June 12 to September 3. If successful, they may be rolled out nationwide in 2025.

In addition to the new vegan desserts, McDonald’s UK already offers vegan options like the McPlant burger with a Beyond vegan patty, Vegetable Deluxe, Veggie Dippers, and a spicy veggie wrap. McDonald’s UK fries are also vegan-friendly.
