MeliBio Bags Pre-Series A Investment to Expand Bee-Free Mellody Honey

The investment, from Future Food Fund by Oisix, will help scale up distribution of MeliBio's plant-based sweetener, Mellody. The company aims to replicate honey without using bees, as honey production has negatively impacted wild bee populations and overall biodiversity.

MeliBio has launched Mellody nationwide through various partnerships and is also expanding its distribution internationally. Additionally, the company is focusing on precision fermentation technology to efficiently produce plant-based products.
