Milkadamia Launches First 2D-Printed Flat Pack Oat Milk on US Market

Milkadamia is introducing the first flat-pack plant-based milk to the US market with its Flat Pack Organic Oat Milk. Using a proprietary 2D-printing process, oat milk paste is transformed into ultra-light sheets, reducing packaging waste by 94% and product weight by 85%. Each pack contains eight sheets, allowing consumers to make half a gallon of oat milk by blending the sheets with water for 30 seconds or soaking them overnight for longer shelf life.

The company's new product is part of the pre-cycling movement, focusing on waste reduction at the manufacturing stage to minimize ecological costs. While Milkadamia is the first to offer flat-pack oat milk in the US, other companies like Veganz in Germany have also ventured into 2D-printed oat milk. The Flat Pack Organic Oat Milk will be available for retail distribution in January 2025, aligning with Milkadamia's commitment to sustainable practices and eco-stewardship.
