Despite her popular support, Schinner believes it is unlikely she will be the winning bidder in the ongoing process to sell the company's assets. She had kickstarted a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe to finance her bid, attracting support from over 1,600 investors.

Schinner had not planned to regain ownership of Miyoko’s Creamery this year, but seized the opportunity after the company entered a process to sell its assets. While she may not win back the company, Schinner expressed interest in potentially starting a new food company aligned with her ethics and vision for the future of the food system. She remains grateful for the public support she received and is contemplating her next steps in serving the food system.
