Mr Charlie’s Opening To Feature Free Burgers And Special Guest Travis Barker

Vegan fast-food brand Mr Charlie’s is opening a new store in San Diego, California, this weekend, with a special appearance expected from musician Travis Barker. The grand opening event will feature free plant-based burgers for guests, with a range of options available.



Barker, a longtime vegan and supporter of plant-based companies, recently joined Mr Charlie’s as an equity partner and ambassador. The brand, sometimes dubbed the “vegan McDonald’s,” offers a variety of vegan versions of classic fast-food staples like burgers and fries. Barker has been a vegetarian since he was a teenager and adopted a vegan diet after a serious plane crash in 2008. He has since invested in vegan businesses and led a PETA campaign, and was recently seen using a cruelty-free pedicab in NYC with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian.
