Mycelium-Based Breakfast Patties Launch At Sprouts Farmers Market

Meati Foods has introduced mycelium-based breakfast patties in two flavors, Original and Maple, at Sprouts Farmers Market in the US. The patties contain eight grams of protein and four grams of fiber per serving, with zero saturated fat and zero cholesterol, and are made with 98 percent mycelium. Meati's CEO Phil Graves described the patties as tasty, nutrient-packed, and clean, reminiscent of Saturday morning sausage.



These new Breakfast Patties join Meati's existing range of plant-based products, including Crispy Cutlets, Classic Steaks, and Carne Asada steaks. The Breakfast Patties can be found in the freezer section of 280 Sprouts Farmers Market locations nationwide. Meati's use of mycelium as an alternative protein source results in a product with lower greenhouse gas emissions and water usage compared to traditional beef, offering a nutritious and sustainable option for consumers looking to reduce their environmental impact.
