Naplasol Debuts Enhanced Mycoprotein Range Following Mycorena Acquisition

Naplasol, a Belgian-based protein manufacturer, is introducing its new Promyc mycoprotein line at the upcoming Food Ingredients Europe event in Frankfurt. This launch comes after Naplasol's acquisition of the Swedish mycoprotein company Mycorena, which had faced financial difficulties earlier in the year. With the acquisition complete, Naplasol is now producing two new mycoprotein products, Promyc S110 and Promyc L100, known for their high protein and dietary fiber content, as well as their adaptability in taste and texture for various food applications.

The Promyc mycoproteins are positioned as sustainable protein sources that cater not only to the rising demand for meat alternatives but also to hybrid products that combine plant-based ingredients with animal proteins. Naplasol aims to showcase the versatility of Promyc at the FIE event, highlighting their potential in creating cheese alternatives, vegetable-centric dishes, protein bars, and dairy-free frozen desserts. Through their innovative protein solutions, Naplasol hopes to inspire the food industry towards a more sustainable food future in collaboration with their customers.
