Markeyshi K’Patrick recently opened Eliza’s Vegan Cafe Food Truck in Florence, SC, named after her late grandmother. The food truck aims to veganize comfort foods that people are accustomed to eating, to capture their attention, educate them, and slowly raise their consciousness about plant-based eating. Vegan versions of popular dishes like oxtail stew, chicken sandwiches, and bacon cheeseburgers are offered, made with mostly organic fruits and vegetables and locally sourced ingredients when possible.

Eliza’s Vegan Food Truck is open for breakfast on Saturdays from 6-10am, as well as for lunch and dinner daily from 11am-5pm. K’Patrick, who has been vegan for over 20 years, is excited to bring vegan options to the community in Florence and hopes to introduce more people to the benefits of plant-based eating through her delicious offerings.
