New Black-Owned Vegan Restaurant Opens in Chicago Today

The Black Vegan, a Black-owned vegan restaurant, is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. The grand opening on June 12 will feature a $10 discount menu for both returning and new customers to try out the plant-based twists on comfort food classics such as vegan shrimp gyros, vegan BBQ ribs, and vegan cheesecake. The restaurant encourages customers to place their orders ahead of time for dine-in, pick up, or delivery options.

Located at 2300 S Kedzie Ave Chicago, IL 60623, The Black Vegan will be selling food until they are sold out.
