New Plant-Based Caribbean Cafe Now Open in Brooklyn

Aunts et Uncles is a new plant-based Caribbean cafe and lifestyle concept spot that recently opened in Brooklyn. Owned by husband and wife team Michael and Nicole Nicholas, the cafe is a tribute to their own large families and the positive influence of their aunts and uncles. Their menu features a mix of American-style bites and Caribbean flavors, such as the Au Burger and Mofongo, paired with beer, wine, and cocktails like the Mikey Spice and Grass Roots. In addition to the food, visitors can browse the lifestyle shop offering items from their clothing brand DIEM, books on self-love and nutrition, and more.

Located at 1407 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, the cafe is currently open for delivery, offering a unique experience that combines both Michael and Nicole's interests in hospitality and design. The plant-based bites were intended as an additional offering at the cafe, but have become a popular choice among diners.
