New Plant-Based Ice Cream Shop Opening in Brooklyn This Weekend

Dreamery, a fully plant-based ice cream and treat shop, is set to open in Brooklyn this weekend. The team behind Clementine Bakery, Izzy Rose Cocktail Bar, and Le Petit Monstre Bakery, all staples in the New York vegan food scene, are bringing their California beach town roots and 90s rave scene inspiration to the new shop. Dreamery will offer seasonal ice cream flavors, self-serve soft serve machines, footlong churros, grab-n-go pints, ice cream cakes, specialty merchandise, party accessories, and a rotating selection of vegan candy.

Located at 299 Greene Avenue in Brooklyn, Dreamery will be open from 12-8pm Tuesday-Saturday, starting this Saturday. The menu will feature unique flavors like Cherry Pie, Burnt Plum Sesame, and French Toast, along with traditional favorites like chocolate and strawberry. Co-owner Elle Barton stated that each flavor was inspired by color and a fond childhood memory, such as eating peach ice cream by a campfire.
