New Plant-Forward Restaurant, Herbivore, Opens in Bali This December

Located in downtown Ubud, Bali, Herbivore is a new plant-forward restaurant set to open in December. Taking the place of Locavore, Herbivore will offer a fully vegan menu, showcasing locally sourced, plant-based cuisine. The restaurant aims to provide a unique dining experience focusing solely on celebrating local plants, with dishes curated by head chef Arnaud Hauchon, featuring a five- or seven-course tasting menu.

Meanwhile, Locavore will transition to a new venture called Locavore NXT, also opening in December in a different nearby location. While Locavore NXT will not be exclusively plant-based, vegan options will be available on the menu for patrons to enjoy. The announcement of Herbivore and Locavore NXT marks an exciting new chapter in the culinary landscape of downtown Ubud, offering innovative and sustainable dining experiences.
