New Vegan Bakery Opens in Chicago

Sweet Vegan Bakes, a new vegan bakery in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood, offers a fully vegan menu of cupcakes, milkshakes, and sandwiches. Founded by Cheryl Nelson, who started her vegan journey almost 20 years ago, the bakery also plans to offer cooking classes to the community and expand its menu to include dishes like chicken & waffles.
