New Vegan Butcher Shop to Open in Long Beach This Year

A new vegan butcher shop, The Plant Butchers, is set to open in Long Beach later this year. Co-founded by Brittany Littleton, the shop will offer a variety of plant-based foods, including pantry staples, deli meats, cheeses, and ready-made sandwiches like parmesan meatball subs and roast beef dips. The shop will also feature a small bulk grocery area for plastic-free cooking, making plant-based shopping more accessible.

With the demand for vegan options increasing in Long Beach, The Plant Butchers aims to make plant-based foods easily accessible seven days a week. The shop will offer a wide variety of vegan staples like truffle mac 'n' cheese, bowls, and pasta sauces. The location will also be next to Sugar Taco’s third location, allowing customers to pick up deli meats and refreshing agua fresca in one trip.
