New Vegan Fried Chicken Ghost Kitchen to Open in Dallas

The team behind El Palote Panaderia in Dallas is launching a new vegan fried chicken ghost kitchen called Desperados. The recipe for the soy-based fried chicken was developed by the Arias family over quarantine, creating a texture and flavor that will have non-vegans questioning if it's really meat. The vegan fried chicken will be served in a box with seasoned fries and peppers, with a diablo option for those looking for a spicy kick.

Once all permits are in place, the ghost kitchen will operate out of a space on Commerce Street in downtown Dallas. Customers can order for pickup or delivery through platforms like Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.
