New Vegan Restaurant Opens in Former Gegen Space in East Hollywood

The former Gegen space in East Hollywood is now home to a new 100% vegan restaurant called The Gray Zebra. This woman-owned establishment opened its doors on March 14 with a focus on inclusivity, catering to vegans and omnivores alike with a diverse menu of dishes. The restaurant was born out of owner Nabiha Basathia's passion for veganism and desire to share her love for food and community with the world.

Curated by Chef Alison Cruddas, The Gray Zebra offers a range of delicious vegan options, from Curry Fries to BBQ Burgers to Green Jungle Smoothies. The restaurant is currently open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 9pm, with plans to launch a catering menu in the near future. Whether ordering in person, online, or through delivery apps, those seeking vegan food in Hollywood can now enjoy the offerings of The Gray Zebra.
