Matt de Gruyter, co-founder and CEO of Next Level Burger, will take on the role of CEO at Veggie Grill by Next Level, implementing upgrades such as top-tier sourcing practices and the use of non-GMO ingredients. The goal is to extend Next Level Burger's inclusive team culture to Veggie Grill's workforce, prioritizing living wages and premium benefits. This acquisition, following a recent $20 million funding round by Next Level Burger, marks a significant milestone in their mission to establish 1,000 plant-based restaurants nationwide.
