NYC’s Beloved Seasoned Vegan Closes in Harlem After 9 Years

Seasoned Vegan, a popular vegan restaurant in New York City, will be closing its Harlem location after nine years of serving the community. Founded by mother-and-son duo Brenda and Aaron Beener, Seasoned Vegan has been known for its unique Soul Food-inspired menu featuring dishes like vegan mac 'n' cheese and BBQ Riblets. Sadly, the restaurant is being forced to relocate to a new space in NoHo with a smaller menu due to issues with the building's landlords.

Despite the closure of their Harlem location, Seasoned Vegan plans to reopen at 128 2nd Avenue and continue serving some of their classic dishes like BBQ Crawfish and Chicken Nuggets. However, many popular menu items, including mac 'n' cheese and ribs, will no longer be available. Fans of Seasoned Vegan are encouraged to visit their Harlem location before April 1 to enjoy these dishes one last time before they are removed from the menu.
