Oatly has announced the launch of Baristamatic oat milk in the UK, specifically designed for automated coffee machines. This milk alternative is said to optimize coffee machine performance by reducing sedimentation in milk containers, allowing for smoother operation of the machines. Developed from the original Oatly Barista recipe, Baristamatic has a slightly higher fat content to support foam stability and lower viscosity for better flow through automated machines.

This new product, presented at the Anuga Alternatives trade fair, is already available at select Burger King stores in Austria. Oatly's General Manager for the UK and Ireland, Bryan Carroll, described Baristamatic as a "breakthrough innovation" tested and approved by leading coffee machine manufacturers. The milk is now available directly from Oatly and will be stocked by major wholesalers starting in January 2026, promising the same great taste and performance whether made by a barista or an automated machine.
