Oatly UK Introduces Lower-Fat ‘Barista Lighter Taste’, Targeting Trend for Lighter Roasted Coffee

Oatly UK has introduced a new addition to its Barista oat milk range, Barista Lighter Taste, with a lower fat level (2.1% compared to the original 3%). This product is designed for coffee lovers who prefer lighter-roasted coffee, allowing more subtle flavor notes to shine through while still maintaining the performance capabilities needed for frothing and foaming. The new milk alternative has been trialled at select coffee outlets across Europe and is now officially launched for retail in the UK with updated packaging.

As part of Oatly's strategy to expand the Barista family, they have also introduced larger and single-serving formats of the original Barista edition. Barista Lighter Taste is versatile and can be used in baking, cereal, and other hot drinks in addition to coffee. Oatly is currently running a marketing campaign to promote oat milk as a suitable alternative for tea drinkers. With their recent partnership with Black Sheep Coffee, the company aims to continue expanding their product offerings and format options to meet the needs of customers and consumers.
