Oatly Whips Up Cake & Custard Giveaway with UK Rapper Giggs

Oatly has partnered with British rapper Giggs to launch a limited-edition dairy-free cake and custard kit campaign. The collaboration aims to raise awareness about lactose intolerance in the UK and promote Oatly's vanilla custard as a viable alternative for those with dairy sensitivities. The giveaway includes 500 kits available at a bakery in south London and 30 kits online for those who miss out.

Giggs, who suffers from lactose intolerance himself, reached out to Oatly after struggling to find dairy-free alternatives in supermarkets. Through this collaboration, Oatly hopes to encourage retailers to offer more non-dairy options and make products like their vanilla custard more widely available. The campaign features a series of films showcasing Giggs as a bakery owner in south London, highlighting the challenges faced by those with lactose intolerance in finding suitable dessert options.
