One of the Three Piglets Rescued from Madrid Farm Survives at Fundación Santuario Vegan

Three piglets named Albertito, María Luisa, and Regaliz were rescued from an industrial farm in Madrid and taken to Fundación Santuario Vegan in Brunete, Spain. Born into the harsh conditions of an industrial farm, they were destined for slaughter after falling ill and deemed unprofitable. Unfortunately, two of the piglets, Albertito and María Luisa, succumbed to their illnesses despite treatments.

Regaliz, the sole survivor, continues to fight a bacterial infection at the Sanctuary. The use of antibiotics in farmed animals contributes to antibiotic resistance, making it challenging to treat illnesses. Fundación Santuario Vegan remains committed to its mission of providing a safe haven for animals exploited by the farming industry and promoting awareness and compassion for non-human animals.
