Plant-based seafood company Oshi has expanded its US retail presence by placing its salmon fillets in California grocery chain Bristol Farms and Michigan-based Better Health Markets and Cafes. The company now has over 100 locations in the US, with Bristol Farms being its fifth major retail chain partner. The Michigan launch, facilitated by KeHE Distributors, brings Oshi's salmon fillets to 14 Better Health Markets and Cafes stores.
In May, Oshi received a $3 million strategic investment and launched a whitefish line alongside its flagship salmon. The company reported significant revenue growth in 2025 and aims for a national retail rollout across 686 doors in 2026. Oshi also highlighted its environmental mission, stating that every plant-based choice contributes to healthier oceans and a cleaner planet. The company credits its plug-and-play manufacturing model for an 80% reduction in production costs, bringing its products closer to price parity with conventional fish.
