Students from the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) caused outrage after tying a dead fox to the roof of a car during a charity rally, with a photo of the incident being shared on Snapchat. The animal's legs were strapped to the vehicle with blue rope, with a caption referencing the location of the university in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. RAU, known as the "Oxbridge for farmers," condemned the behavior and collaborated with the police to identify those responsible.

RAU released a statement expressing their disapproval of the incident and starting an investigation immediately upon learning of it. Police from Gloucestershire Constabulary spoke to the students involved and offered words of advice, but determined that no crime had been committed.
