Panda Express Expands Vegan Orange Chicken to More Locations

Panda Express is bringing back their vegan orange chicken, made with Beyond Meat, to select locations for a limited time. The dish, called Beyond The Original Orange Chicken, features crispy and breaded Beyond Meat tossed in a sweet and tangy orange sauce. This is the second launch of the vegan orange chicken, after a successful trial run in July which quickly sold out in New York City and Southern California.

Starting on October 27, the Beyond The Original Orange Chicken will be available at 70 locations across 10 states, including California, Washington, Texas, and Florida. The popularity of the vegan option has led to suggestions for a potential nationwide release, as customers on social media are eager for more plant-based options at Panda Express. In addition to the vegan orange chicken, Panda Express offers other plant-based items such as Chow Mein, Eggplant Tofu, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Super Greens, and white and brown rice.
