PBFA Unveils Strategic Plan to Grow US Production & Consumption of Plant-Based Foods

The Plant Based Foods Association (PBFA) and Plant-Based Foods Institute (PBFI) have revealed their 2025-2027 Strategic Plan, focusing on growing the market share of plant-based foods in the US. The plan outlines a systems-based approach that involves collaboration across sectors to increase production and consumption of plant-based products.

The Strategic Plan includes six pillars such as membership, marketplace, policy, research and education, consumer and community engagement, and agriculture. Initiatives have already been taken to revise membership dues for food manufacturers and advocate for transparency in food production. The goal is to support the growth of the plant-based food industry and promote sustainable farming systems through partnerships and collective action.
