Israeli food-tech startup PhenOlives has successfully launched the world's first fully automated industrial production line dedicated to olive flour, located in the ASSI Olive Mill. This milestone marks the company's transition to large-scale production, with the facility targeting up to 400 tonnes of olive flour each season. PhenOlives is now the only company globally converting olive pomace into a market-ready food ingredient on an industrial scale, turning what was previously considered a costly waste stream into a valuable product.

By reducing disposal volumes and costs, creating a new revenue stream, and operating with minimal staffing and no chemical processing, PhenOlives aims to address challenges in the olive oil industry caused by climate-driven volatility.
