Phoebe Bridgers Teams up with HomeState to Launch Vegan Taco

Phoebe Bridgers has teamed up with HomeState, a popular LA restaurant known for its Tejano flavor, to launch a limited-time vegan taco called The Maxine Band Taco. Named after Bridgers' dog, Maxine, the taco features black beans, shiitake mushrooms, avocado, caramelized onions, and crispy corn strips on a Kernel of Truth corn tortilla. The partnership is part of HomeState's Band Taco Program, which collaborates with artists and local graphic designers to create unique taco creations. A portion of the proceeds from The Maxine Band Taco will support CASA of Los Angeles, an organization that advocates for children and families in the LA County welfare system.

The Maxine Band Taco is available at HomeState restaurants throughout LA until November 22.
