Pladis Launches New Accelerator Programme to Support Food Tech, Health & Sustainability Startups

British confectionery and snack company pladis has launched a new accelerator programme to support early-stage startups in the fields of food tech, health, and sustainability. The programme is focused on finding innovative startups globally in areas such as future ingredients, advancing functional foods, and personalised nutrition. Selected startups will receive mentorship from pladis’ senior team, access to industry leaders, and the opportunity to pilot projects or co-develop solutions with the company. The accelerator programme is powered by Yildiz Ventures, the innovation and strategic growth arm of pladis’ parent company Yildiz Holding.

The launch of the programme coincides with pladis' sponsorship of the FoodTech 500 ranking by Forward FoodTech. The call for applications will be open from March 18 to May 31, with final selections made by June 30. Startups from around the globe are eligible to apply, with a focus on driving transformative change within the food tech, health, and sustainability sectors.
