Swiss fermentation company Planetary SA is in discussions with India’s Dhampur Bio Organics Ltd. to establish industrial-scale mycoprotein production in India. The collaboration would involve co-locating Planetary's fermentation technology within DBO's existing sugar production infrastructure, potentially bringing mycoprotein production costs below $1 per kilogram.
