The Ministry of Health in Poland has pledged to introduce plant-based meals in schools and nurseries following successful advocacy by Green REV Institute and Safe Food Federation. The organizations highlighted the need to provide plant-based nutritional options to guarantee access for children who do not consume animal products. As a result, the Ministry has committed to introducing plant-based alternatives in main meals, allowing children to substitute dairy products with plant-based drinks, and using more precise nomenclature in menu descriptions.

The Safe Food Federation, initiated by Green REV Institute, also successfully advocated for changes in hospital nutrition regulations to accommodate patients' beliefs and dietary choices. The Ministry of Health has indicated that the draft regulations now take into account cultural requirements, religious beliefs, and worldview of patients, addressing concerns about equal treatment and freedom of conscience and religion. While these changes are currently declarations in public consultations, the organizations plan to monitor the legislative process to ensure the Ministry's promises are translated into effective legal solutions that promote inclusivity and respect for individual choices.
