Plant-Based Ramen Restaurant Opens in West Hollywood

Ippudo, a renowned Japanese ramen restaurant group, is opening a plant-based concept, Ippudo V, in West Hollywood on May 11. This will be their first fully vegan venture on the West Coast, offering a menu of vegan ramen options like Pla-Ton, Daichi no Miso, Shojin, and Hakuna Matata. The restaurant will also feature plant-based appetizers, sushi rolls, and desserts, with a focus on vegan sushi and innovative adaptations of traditional Japanese techniques.

Founded in 1985 in Fukuoka, Japan, Ippudo has since expanded to 140 international locations across 15 countries. With a successful presence on the West Coast in cities like San Francisco and Berkeley, Ippudo has played a significant role in popularizing authentic Japanese ramen in the US. Ippudo V in West Hollywood will accommodate 56 guests and will be open Monday through Thursday from 11:30am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:30am to 11pm, and Sunday from 11:30am to 9:30pm.
