Plant-Based Soft Serve Shop Yoga-urt Opens First Franchise in Granada Hills

Yoga-urt, a popular plant-based soft serve shop in LA, has opened its fourth location in Granada Hills. This new franchise-owned store will offer dairy-free frozen yogurt treats made from scratch, with six rotating flavors available. The grand opening on August 3 will feature free minis with toppings for the first 50 visitors, discounts on birthday cake shakes, and limited-time mini popsicles.

Founded in 2015, Yoga-urt has been serving creamy, plant-powered soft serve to Angelenos using hand-squeezed almonds and cashews, premium ingredients, and probiotics. The founder, Melissa Schulman, is excited to see the brand expand through franchising, allowing more entrepreneurs to bring the healthier, allergy-friendly treats to their communities. The Granada Hills location will offer a variety of flavors, compostable cup options, and additional beverages such as coffee and tea.
